Who you are:
The Brand Strategist will work closely with senior Strategist(s) to develop market and competitive overviews for clients and new business opportunities, coordinate and manage internal and external market research projects, and and independently manages creation of key brand strategy client deliverables, enlisting help from leads in multiple disciplines as necessary.
Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:
The Brandscape
Help the team develop fundamental knowledge of brandscape (Customer, Competitor, Self) and market landscape dynamics on assigned brands
Collaborate with lead strategist and/or account team on audits for in-line clients and as part of pitches
Tackle ad hoc research assignments
Listen to company investor/earnings calls and summarize key updates
Assess/review client data and industry databases to identify therapeutic area market dynamics
Audit industry publications and websites to identify innovative and novel communications and trends in the space
Create and manage brand Miro boards
Create and present summaries internally
Regularly review industry databases and publications in support of all brand teams to identify actionable news, events and opportunities
Lead efforts to keep internal teams apprised of market activities and share relevant insights with clients as appropriate
Voice of Customer
Conduct social listening audits
Help develop recommendations for strategic research projects, including objectives, methods, and timing
Coordinate and manage market research vendors and recruiting on assigned clients and pitches
Manage transcripts and create quote libraries for research readouts
Create and present summaries internally
Craft screeners and discussion guides
Conduct interviews and smart community research
Write and share interview summaries
Strategy
Develop personas
Help create content and slides for workshops
Coordinate presentation development and editing
Participate in strat map sessions
Help create content and slides for workshops
Collaborate with account on project brief development with an eye on objectives, target insight and content - and ensure project briefs are aligned with overarching strategy
Provide analysis of research and help craft recommendations for client strategy based on market landscape
Client & Team Management
Contribute content and support to lead strategist as needed for status, presentations and workshops
Help create content and slides for workshops
Coordinate presentation development and editing
Collaborate regularly with account, engagement and creative teams
The Strategy Department
Audit industry publications and websites to identify innovative and novel communications and trends
Contribute cases and learnings in weekly department staff meetings
The Agency
Collaborate with other disciplines and other precision teams proactively and respectfully
Provide business development and pitch support, including setting up primary research and conducting desk research
Regularly Interacts With
Strategy, Account, Medical, Digital, Media and Creative team members; Clients; Research vendors; Physicians, other HCPs and patient audiences
Qualifications:
Minimum Required:
Bachelor's Degree
2+ years of agency or related marketing experience
Other Required:
Strong communication, interpersonal and management skills are required
Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
General understanding of Internet use
May require travel domestically and/or internationally including overnight stays

Precision is required by law in some states or cities to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.
Reasonable estimate of the current range
$62,000 - $90,000 USD
