The Marketing Design position is responsible for producing design, print media, digital media, social, and marketing for Minuteman Press of Toledo. We need a person that is willing to help with production from running digital printers to collating jobs but on limited occasions.

MARKETING DESIGN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

1. Lead visual design and implementation for marketing campaigns
2. Create progressive and consistent visuals
3. Actively participate in creative and strategic brainstorming sessions
4. See projects through from conceptual phases to final preparation
5. Produce a range of print-related design solutions and digital
6. Take on special design tasks to support multiple projects
7. Give and solicit honest feedback to continually improve the business direction
8. Confidently present your work to the team
9. Produce copy for emails, ads, and other marketing material
10. Test the responsiveness of all assets for all platforms and analyze their effectiveness

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

1. College degree in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, or a related field of study
2. 5+ years of design experience recommended
3. Preflight customer files and fix any print related issues - clean up, bleeds, font replacement
4. Able to communicate with customers effectively on issues
5. Passionate about and staying up to date on design trends.
6. Archive artwork properly to be filed for future reference
7. Able to search and pull files from server
8. Preparing files for digital printers and offset press
9. Educate customers on properly preparing files for print
10. Learn new software
11. Must possess the ability to push, pull or lift weights in excess of 50 pounds
12. Operate in-house digital printers and maintain
13. Perform other related duties assigned

PROFICIENT IN:

1. Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Wordpress, MailChimp and Acrobat
2. Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
3. Social media, Google Ads and email design
4. HTML, HTML 5, and CSS knowledge is a plus
