About the job The YouTube Business Go-To-Market team is responsible for all Go-To-Market functions for the YouTube Business Organization, including strategy, business operations, analytics, data science, partnership enablement, and product activation. The team shapes priorities to accelerate growth, allocates resources, enhances skills, and builds infrastructure such as data, reports, and dashboards. As a Senior Music Data Scientist in the YouTube Business Go-To-Market Music & Media Co Analytics team (M&M), you will collaborate with data scientists and StratOps across YouTube Product and Ads to analyze Music business problems, leveraging techniques from causal inference, advanced statistical modeling, and forecasting. You will determine the best analytical approach and communicate findings clearly to decision-makers with varying technical backgrounds. Our tools range from experimental to observational techniques, addressing a broad spectrum of functional and product challenges. Responsibilities Collaborate with analysts and data scientists across YouTube Product and Ads to analyze Music trends and assess their impact on the Music business. Design and lead causal studies to answer key business questions related to Music Earnings trends. Present and communicate actionable insights and recommendations to executives and cross-functional teams. Compensation The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000-$244,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges are role, level, and location-dependent.
