The primary purpose of the Sales Account Executive is to exceed sales targets within their assigned territory by promoting and selling outdoor advertising to vetted advertisers. An Account Executive (AE) will employ professional sales techniques to cultivate long-term advertising relationships that enhance Lamar's advertising sales.

Education and Experience:
- Valid Driver's License is mandatory.
- A college degree is preferred.
- Previous experience in Outdoor Advertising sales is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with CRM systems is preferred.

A Day in the Life:
In this position, you will:
- Meet and exceed sales targets while monitoring your personal sales data and reports.
- Target businesses in your assigned area, routinely visiting both established Lamar clients and competitors within a set timeframe.
- Possess a solid understanding of local and national competition.
- Organize accounts for efficient management.
- Identify potential growth opportunities and proactively seek new accounts.
- Utilize Lamar's tools to locate prospects, follow up on leads, prepare proposals, and conduct research.
- Refine your presentation skills using digital tools and present to clients regularly.
- Enhance your product knowledge and selling techniques consistently.
- Actively engage in sales meetings, regional events, seminars, and trade shows.
- Handle administrative duties efficiently, which includes:
- Planning daily, weekly, and monthly sales activities in advance.
- Following up on client production orders and resolving any issues swiftly.
- Maintaining organized, up-to-date records of clients and sales activities.
- Work is divided between an office setting and field sales calls to service existing accounts.
- Physical demands include light lifting, visual tasks such as reading and color distinction, sitting less than 50% of the time, standing, talking, turning, and walking.
