Job Title: Principal Enterprise UX Designer – Inventory, Planning & Replenishment (IPR) Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid – 4 days onsite, Mon–Thurs) Type: W2 Contract Contract Duration: Initial 12-month term, with multi-year extension potential Overview: Our client is looking for a highly experienced and strategically minded Principal UX Designer to lead initiatives within the Inventory, Planning & Replenishment (IPR) space. This is a pivotal role that will shape both immediate product experiences and long-term UX strategy, supporting ongoing platform consolidation efforts and the launch of enterprise-wide journey management initiatives. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-impact design solutions, mentoring IC designers, and helping mature the UX practice in a critical business domain that connects IPR analysts, merchandising, and supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities: Tactical UX & UI Design Execution Own the design of user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and UI patterns for core initiatives such as the One Inventory Platform (OIP) and Orderability. Lead taxonomy and pattern alignment across newly consolidated IPR tools using Figma as the primary design platform. Journey Mapping & Research Synthesis Conduct journey mapping and create service blueprints that align with the organization’s broader journey management efforts. Translate qualitative and quantitative research into actionable insights that inform both tactical designs and long-term strategies. UX Leadership & Mentorship Lead UX efforts across the IPR space while mentoring two IC-level designers. Provide clear creative direction, foster collaboration, and uplift team members through influence, not authority. UX Maturity Development Champion UX maturity within IPR by introducing scalable processes, building strong partnerships, and embedding a user-first mindset across cross-functional teams. Collaborate with the UX Manager for IPR to define priorities and deliver a cohesive experience vision. Strategic Stakeholder Engagement Build and maintain trusted relationships with leaders in Product, IT, and Business to understand their immediate needs and guide them toward longer-term UX strategies. Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and design, helping articulate the value of UX in measurable, actionable terms. Ideal Candidate Profile: Required: 8–10+ years of enterprise UX/UI design experience Advanced proficiency in Figma for design and prototyping Deep understanding of visual design principles and UI systems Proven success designing complex tools or dashboards, ideally in enterprise or retail settings Strong experience conducting and facilitating journey mapping and service blueprinting High organizational savvy and stakeholder management expertise Strong ability to navigate ambiguity and define problem spaces Excellent written and verbal communication, public speaking, and storytelling skills Demonstrated ability to influence and lead without direct authority Preferred: Experience with inventory management systems, retail merchandising, or supply chain tools Familiarity with data visualization platforms and analytics dashboards Reporting Structure: Reports to: Senior Principal, UX Close collaboration with: UX Manager, IPR Mentorship responsibility: 2 IC-level UX Designers Work Environment & Location: This is a hybrid role requiring four days onsite at the client’s Atlanta-based headquarters . Fridays are optional remote days.
