Why you should join us The Go To Market (GTM) Technology team, an extension of Intuit's technology organization, is responsible for delivering some of the most critical experiences seen by every customer in every product across the Intuit Ecosystem. This includes tools critical for personalisation, monetization, and experimentation. The GTM Tech team is a growing team of designers with the charter to reimagine marketing and marketing operations by applying cutting-edge interactive-design opportunities such as Generative AI. This team balances bold design thinking of North Star designs and high-level information architecture with delivering concrete customer-facing designs. Lead from the front - Be a role model in applying user-centered design (UCD) methodology and design principles in solving customer problems. Be bold, be strategic - Own the inputs of design processes, design strategy, design systems & guidelines, and information architecture. Be boundaryless - Lead cross-functional interactions with product management, product development, and project management; implement durable solutions to any issues with on-time, on-quality delivery. Be the voice of design - Advocate for the design vision to business, product, and technology stakeholders (typically Director and above). Work at scale - Manage, coach, and mentor designers in the craft and development of key hard and soft skills; work with third-party agencies, as appropriate, for efficient design production. Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay-for-performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is: Bay Area California: $222,000 - $300,500; Southern California: $206,500 - $279,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. 15-18 years of experience in interaction design, product design, service design, or related field. 10+ years in leading UX/UI designers. Bachelor or Master's degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction Design, Interaction (Master’s preferred). Alternatively, you are a Certified Usability Analyst. Equivalent work experience will be considered. Demonstrable experience with application of user-centered design methodology (especially user-centered analysis, information architecture, task-flow design, usability testing). Demonstrable experience with application of established design principles in your work. Other skills and experiences you will bring:
Organized, self-directed, efficient, and able to manage multiple and complex projects in a timely manner. Ability to build positive, collaborative relationships across teams/groups/functions. Effective communicator, presenter, and negotiator. Experience designing for and working with design systems and reusable component libraries.
