Working here is about being part of a community.The Executive Producer is responsible for being the Studio Head, leading the overall studio business and organization at Rogue Planet Games located in San Diego, CA, and reporting to the CEO of Daybreak Games. This position will be responsible for:Responsible for the overall direction and success of the studio as a business unitLead the team in establishing and guiding the long-term vision and direction of the game IP for the studio and franchiseOwn the vision for product, process, practices, people, and tools across the franchiseEstablish and drive execution of business plan for studio and franchise IPScope and develop the execution plan against the visionSequence and stack-rank priorities into near-, medium- and long-term for successful execution against the business planEstablish/refine resource plan, team and organizational and structure to successfully execute against planPartner with department leaders to establish and maintain the product vision, scope, staffing plan, schedule, and budgetLead development, management, and direction of:Live game service and operationsContent production, systems, features for the live gameLead exploration and development of investment plan for new game opportunities with the studio's core IPManage studio and development teamsOversee studio staffing across all key disciplines (e.g., production, design, engineering, art, live service, product management, project management and operations)Drive financial performance for the studio (e.g., existing live title and new investments)Report game and business performance to stakeholders and publisher on a regular cadenceFoster relationships with partner teams and shared services to support the gameBe a passionate ambassador for the game IPOther CriteriaRequired Experience & Skills
10+ years of production, development, and product management experience on a live game as a service product3+ years of leadership role (within the 10+ years of game experience)
Additionally, you should possessMust have shipped multiple successful titles, with significant experience in cross-platform and large-scale live operationsStrong knowledge and experience with F2P GaaS economy design and service operationsExperience with and full embrace of data analytics and data-driven decision-making:
Familiarity and utilization of A/B testing frameworkLeverage data to estimate expected outcomes and potential ROI, then stack rank and prioritizeMarket awareness & analysisConsumer awareness & analysisPlayer and marketing management & analysis
