About this job The Associate Director, Sales Marketing and Product Enablement is responsible for product marketing, product communications and sales enablement for a leading portfolio of consumer insights and data-driven solutions from MRI-Simmons and NielsenIQ. The role is ideal for a data-driven self-starter with exceptional messaging and positioning skills, with a passion for data, advertising, research, and solving client challenges. Responsibilities Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to develop messaging, training material and sales collateral for our overall capabilities, new platform features, research studies, product launches, and managed service solutions, including the creation of sales decks, product sheets, and sizzle reels. Leverage product knowledge to assist with client-specific presentations that effectively address our client’s challenges. Assist with board presentations and ad hoc requests from senior management. Maintain competitive positioning and awareness of our competitor's strengths and weaknesses. Communicate internally and externally about new product releases and new research studies, leveraging email marketing and marketing automation tools when necessary. Maintain and update the content and architecture of MRI-S' Help Center and user guides, enabling users to extract the most value from our products and capabilities. Publish quarterly updates to client-facing roadmaps for executive level meetings, RFIs and QBRs. Update legacy collateral as our brand identity and solutions architecture evolves with the release of new products and consumer insights. Leverage product and industry knowledge to create marketing and social media content, including blog posts, custom research and case studies. Manage content marketing calendar for upcoming studies. Proactively ideate and pitch content marketing and thought leadership ideas to marketing, revenue and product leaders. Author and distribute client facing communications about new research studies, platform solutions, and potential platform issues. Assist with webinars and/or podcasts, including presenting material, creating slides, and moderating discussions. Liaison with industry associations and paid media partners to seed our content marketing throughout the industry. Minimum Qualifications ~8 years of experience in Sales Marketing, Product Marketing or related functions within an ad agency, media company, ad tech company, market research provider or data company. Knowledge of the following: Different approaches to collecting consumer data, as well as the basic concepts behind audience modelling and ad effectiveness research. How audience data is collected, distributed and activated across the advertising ecosystem, including the use of clean rooms and APIs. How media owners, brands, advertising agencies, data providers and programmatic platforms interact to plan, activate and measure ad campaigns. You will excel at this role, if you have: An ability to keep up with emerging trends, competitive threats and industry innovations. An ability to understand MRI-Simmons' position in the market, as well as its strengths and weaknesses. An ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into digestible messages. An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work independently with minimum direction. Strong relationship-building and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to manage expectations across multiple stakeholders. The ability to thrive in a collaborative, dynamic and fast-paced work environment with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. $92,000.00 - $170,000.00.
Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
