Role Description

This is an internship for a Social Media and Journalism Intern at TechSesh located in Los Angeles, CA. The intern will be responsible for social media marketing, content creation, digital marketing, and communication tasks.

We are looking for a creative and tech-savvy Social Media Intern to support a tech influencer and digital creator with a strong presence across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media strategy, content creation, and influencer marketing while working with a dynamic brand at the intersection of tech, lifestyle, and motherhood. Some work from home is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in content creation, editing, and scheduling across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn

• Conduct trend research to identify viral topics, sounds, and formats that align with the brand

• Help write captions, scripts, and engaging copy tailored for different platforms

• Assist in managing and responding to audience engagement (comments, DMs, and community interactions)

• Organize and update content calendars and analytics reports to track performance

• Collaborate on brainstorming sessions for creative campaigns and partnership opportunities

• Support influencer collaborations, brand partnerships, and PR outreach

Qualifications

• Passionate about social media, tech, and content creation

• Knowledgeable about TikTok trends, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts

• Skilled in video editing (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools) is a plus

• Strong writing and communication skills

• Organized, proactive, and eager to learn the behind-the-scenes of influencer marketing

• Interest in journalism is a plus

• Bonus: Experience with LinkedIn content strategy is a plus
