Their products are recognized for combining high-performance fabrics with thoughtful design, delivering both style and functionality. With a strong presence across multiple retail channels, they are committed to quality, innovation, and maintaining our reputation as a trusted name in the apparel industry. Their team is now looking for a Freelance Production Artist. Salary/Hourly Rate: $25/hr - $28/hr Position Overview: The Freelance Production Artist must be highly organized and detail-focused professional to join the packaging production team. The successful candidate will work within established processes to prepare and refine files for print, ensuring everything meets technical specifications and quality standards. The Freelance Production Artist will use expertise in Adobe Illustrator to optimize images, fonts, scripts, symbols, and color profiles, helping to create accurate, print-ready files. This position is process-oriented and consistent in nature, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys precision, structure, and working within clear guidelines. Responsibilities of the Freelance Production Artist: Prepare and refine files for print, including optimizing photography and creating production-ready files from provided briefs. Strong understanding of color required; experience with PLM systems is a plus. Collaborate closely with teams across production, packaging development, and creative design. Must bring excellent communication and organizational abilities. Role will work across various product categories, with a significant focus on projects for our sock brands. Required Experience/Skills for the Freelance Production Artist: 4 years of relevant fashion industry experience. PLM experience, preferable Yunique PLM, but open to Centric and Flex PLM. and Adobe Illustrator experience. Preferred Experience/Skills for the Freelance Production Artist: Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Strong verbal communication skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
