Overview
The Gibson Pro Audio project manager is responsible for managing multiple pro audio product development projects, including scheduling and tracking the development process from concept to launch, leading kickoff and status meetings, and being a liaison between product development engineering and other departments to ensure project alignment between teams.
Essential Functions
- Manage multiple projects concurrently including scheduling and tracking the entire development process in project management software, and lead kickoff and status meetings.
- Organize and plan project tasks and schedules.
- Manage tasks in accordance with Project Management standards and those of the company.
- Manage and control project scopes and deliverables through project review meetings.
- Create, maintain, and communicate project budgets, spending, and financial status indicators.
- Work with functional managers and department heads to allocate resources to the project teams.
- Communicate project status to stakeholders and key project participants.
- Work with proposal teams to develop cost estimates and project plans.
- Create presentations and reports to communicate project status.
- Keep the project team focused on the end goal.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Demonstrable problem-solving project management experience and skills.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as DACI and best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Required Education and Experience
- Certificate in project management or related work experience.
- 3 years of experience managing pro audio or consumer audio development projects.
- Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Management skills combined with the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- This position is mostly office-based, but may involve minimal travel.
