Administratively Uncontrollable Overtime is additional compensation, which may be paid up to 25% of the base salary.
Duties Requirements Qualifications GL-09
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GL-07 grade level, performing duties such as covering a designated security post; planning logistics in arranging protective services and transportation; and collaborating with other law enforcement stakeholders.
OR a Master's or equivalent graduate degree, or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education in an accredited college or university leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D. if related.
OR a combination of education and experience listed above.
GS-11
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GL-09 grade level, performing duties such as covering and maintaining a designated security post; preparing strategic security plans; planning logistics for protective services and transportation; performing investigative functions; and collaborating with other law enforcement stakeholders.
OR a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education in an accredited college or university leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.
OR a combination of education and experience listed above.
Experience includes paid, unpaid, volunteer work through programs like Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, or other organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translate directly to paid employment. All qualifying experience, including volunteer experience, will be credited.
