Overview
Before we get into the specifics of the role, there are a few things we want you to know:
This is a Part-Time Event role that requires the PA Announcer to work at the Kia Center for all home games, which include the pre-season and post-season. There is no relocation assistance and no assistance for traveling to/from working the games.
At the Orlando Magic, our approach is to not only learn as much about you as we can, but for you to learn about us. This is definitely a two-way street, so time with your potential new leader, teammates, and/or other departments that the role will work with is critical. It isn’t just, “what are we looking for”, but also, “what do we have to offer you” and “are we the right fit for you.” While every position is different, this interview process will require samples of your professional PA work samples, will consist of calling a closed gym game, with the final two candidates calling one of our two pre-season games.
If you are unable to attach your work samples/PA Announcing samples either as links on your resume or as attachments, you can email your files to: omcareers@orlandomagic.com
