Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Football Public Address Announcer located in Bemidji, MN. The Football Public Address Announcer will be responsible for providing live announcements during Beaver Football games with the ability to pick up shifts during other sports seasons when needed. Duties include preparing and delivering pre-scripted content, making real-time announcements, and ensuring clear and engaging communication with the audience. The role also involves coordinating with event staff and athletic media to ensure smooth operations during events.

Qualifications

• Skills in Radio Announcing, Public Address, and Public Speaking preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field is advantageous
• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of NCAA Division II football rules and regulations
• Must be able to observe and react to events on the field/court/athletic venue in order to accurately announce information
• Must have an excellent speaking voice and ability to project and annunciate and the ability to read announcements in a timely fashion
• Possess a willingness and ability to support a diverse and inclusive environment
• Must be able to be flexible with timing and "off-script" information for announcements
