Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience in marketing communications, with a focus on audience research and data analysis. Proven experience in conducting audience research, segmentation, and developing targeted communication strategies. Familiarity and experience working with federal agencies or organizations specializing in supporting public awareness, education, and outreach efforts to promote the prevention and treatment of diseases, preferred. Key Responsibilities and Tasks: Conduct thorough audience research, including surveys, focus groups, and data analysis, to understand audience preferences, needs, and behaviors. Develop audience segmentation strategies to tailor communication messages and materials for specific target groups. Collaborate with content creators and designers to develop impactful communication materials based on audience insights. Work closely with the marketing communications team to create and implement communication plans that resonate with diverse audiences. Monitor and analyze the performance of communication campaigns, providing data-driven recommendations for optimization. Utilize social media analytics, website metrics, and other data sources to evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies. Examples of Relevant Employment History and Accomplishments: Led audience research initiatives that resulted in promoting disease prevention, improving targeting and engagement of communication campaigns. Successfully developed and implemented communication strategies that reached and resonated with diverse and underrepresented audiences. Utilized data insights to inform marketing decisions and optimize communication materials for increased effectiveness. Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Skills: Strong research and data analysis skills to conduct audience research and evaluate campaign performance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to develop compelling communication materials. Proficiency in social sciences research, marketing communication principles, data analysis, digital marketing strategies, media placement, knowledge dissemination, and stakeholder engagement. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
