Putnam Middle School
Putnam Middle School is seeking an innovative and motivated Music teacher to inspire a love of music and performing arts in students across grades 5–8. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality vocal, instrumental, and performing arts instruction, build a supportive and inclusive classroom environment, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance student learning and engagement. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, a passion for the arts, and the ability to foster creativity through performances, classroom instruction, and co-curricular opportunities. Putnam Middle School offers a strong, collaborative culture of caring educators who leverage resources to nurture and challenge our students. Putnam facilitates strong district-wide alignment and support across all three schools in the district to ensure the student’s educational experience prepares them for the real world.
QUALIFICATIONS:CT Certification 049: Music, PK-12or eligibility for certification required
