Seeking Education Reporter

Join a collaborative newsroom where reporters have the freedom to tell the stories that matter most. Our 2024 series on people living in the margins was named best investigative reporting in Iowa. The Quad-City Times and Dispatch-Argus, daily publications in the Quad-Cities, are seeking an education reporter to help drive our coverage in a competitive media market of nearly 385,000 people.

Our education reporter will cover school districts, colleges and universities, and education issues related to Quad-Cities schools. From budget stories to features on students and teachers to enterprise projects, we seek a reporter who can prioritize the most impactful stories. The education reporter will work out of the Davenport, Iowa, newsroom, overlooking the Mississippi River.
