UX Digital Accessibility Specialist
Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite 5 days/week – Midtown office until August, then moving to Sandy Springs' iconic King and Queen building)

Our client is seeking a UX Digital Accessibility Specialist to be the champion of inclusive design. In this role, you'll ensure that digital products meet accessibility standards and provide equitable experiences for users of all abilities. You'll work closely with designers, developers, and QA teams to implement accessibility best practices and advocate for user-centered design.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Accessibility Strategy – Define and drive the accessibility roadmap, ensuring products align with WCAG, ARIA, and Section 508 standards.
- Be an Accessibility Advocate – Train teams, educate stakeholders, and promote inclusive design principles.
- Conduct Audits & Testing – Use tools like Axe and WAVE, plus manual testing, to identify and resolve accessibility issues.
- Collaborate on Design & Development – Work with cross-functional teams to create wireframes, prototypes, and design systems that prioritize accessibility.
- Ensure Compliance – Partner with legal and compliance teams to meet regulatory requirements.
What You Bring
- 3-5 years of UX/UI experience with a strong focus on accessibility.
- Expertise in WCAG 2.1+, ARIA, and Section 508 standards.
- Hands-on experience with assistive technologies like screen readers and voice recognition software.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and ARIA landmarks (preferred).
- Section 508 Certification required.
- Experience leading large accessibility initiatives.
- Background in user testing with individuals with disabilities.
- Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC).
- Experience in the financial industry.
