Cryptographic Operation and PQC Engineering Lead Join our team as a Cryptographic Operation and PQC Engineering Lead, contributing to the development of SOC security products across various verticals. You will help shape the next generation of hardware IP, focusing on performance, power efficiency, and security. As part of the Platform Security Architecture team, you will architect security features for mobile, Arm Computing, TV, and Data Center SoCs, collaborating with multiple teams to define state-of-the-art security solutions for supply chain security. Minimum Qualifications MSEE degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience with Hardware Security Modules (HSM) development, deployment, and operations. Experience with applied cryptography and PKI management. Formal training in PQC at graduate level. Knowledge of NIST specifications. Preferred Qualifications Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with a focus on Cryptography. Training in Computer Architecture and Linux Kernel. Knowledge of REST API, Web interfaces, and FIDO protocols. 3+ years in developing PKI and HSM policies and processes. Experience working with certification bodies. Location Open for San Diego, CA and San Jose, CA. Responsibilities Monitor developments in the Open Quantum Safe community and NIST PQC updates to inform our security strategies. Develop industry-leading cryptography operations and key management capabilities. Upgrade infrastructure to support new standards, including Post Quantum Cryptography. Establish security policies for high-value key management and assets. Implement backup and disaster recovery for offline HSMs. Coordinate key ceremonies with certification and manufacturing teams. Define device-to-cloud security protocols for supply chain security.
