Overview
We are looking for an experienced Electronics Technician with specialized knowledge in Radio Frequency (RF) technologies to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of RF components and systems. This role requires technical expertise in RF circuits, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsiblities
- RF System Installation & Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain RF systems, including transmitters, receivers, antennas, and related components, ensuring optimal performance.
- Testing and Troubleshooting: Use RF testing and diagnostic equipment, such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators, to test, troubleshoot, and repair RF circuits and systems.
- Signal Integrity: Monitor and analyze RF signal quality to ensure minimal loss, interference, and signal degradation. Perform measurements to confirm the specifications of RF systems and equipment.
- Component Handling: Work with RF components such as amplifiers, filters, antennas, and mixers. Ensure all components are installed and tested to meet quality standards.
- Calibration: Perform calibration of RF equipment and systems to ensure that all components are operating within specified performance ranges.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system configurations, test results, repairs, and modifications. Document troubleshooting processes and any issues encountered.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering and design teams to support the development, testing, and improvement of RF systems and products.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all RF equipment and systems meet industry and regulatory standards for safety, performance, and environmental compliance.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the tracking and management of RF components, equipment, and parts, ensuring that necessary inventory levels are maintained.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's degree in Electronics Technology, RF Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working with RF technologies and systems.
- Hands-on experience with RF testing equipment, including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
- Proven track record of troubleshooting, calibrating, and repairing RF circuits and systems.
$50,000 - $80,000 a year
