Base pay range
$130,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

Main Responsibilities
- Design and simulate RF front-end systems alongside system architects and engineers.
- Define hardware specifications for RF systems and circuit blocks.
- Design and test RF/microwave circuits, PCBs, and production hardware.
- Evaluate new components and characterize prototypes.
- Analyze radio performance at microwave frequencies.
- Develop automated test procedures using Python.
- Support RF testing and validation in lab environments.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers on production testing.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering with a focus on RF/microwave circuits or electromagnetic theory.
- 8+ years of hands-on lab experience with microwave circuits (e.g., power amplifiers, PLLs).
- 8+ years of RF/microwave design experience (power amps, LNAs, mixers, filters, PLLs).
- 5+ years using design tools such as ADS, Altium, or HFSS.
- Deep knowledge of RF components: PLLs, VCOs, LNAs, regulators, and references.
- Proficient with RF test equipment (spectrum/network analyzers, signal analyzers/generators).
- Familiarity with modulation schemes like QPSK, APSK, and QAM.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience with Python, MATLAB, or similar tools for RF modeling and test scripting.
- Test automation using Python and/or LabVIEW.
- Knowledge of BER, system noise figure, and digital communications theory.
- Experience designing in Ku/Ka microwave frequency bands.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence).
- Exposure to satellite communications and phased array systems.
