Resideo is currently searching for a Principal Radio Frequency Engineer that has state-of-the-art knowledge and deep experience in radio technologies and protocols. You will be selecting next-generation radio transceivers and associated protocols that define Resideo standards across all lines of business. You will have the opportunity to work with design, domain, product management, supply chain, and vendors to optimize solutions and provide differentiation.
JOB DUTIES:
- Define RF and protocol strategy for next generation products.
- Work with cross-functional teams on implementation.
- Drive standardization across the business.
- Create roadmaps to achieve results.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- 12+ Years of experience in embedded engineering, radio frequency and protocols, or related fields and positions.
WE VALUE:
- Proven background in wireless design including: Wi-Fi, 802.15.4, BLE, and SubGHz.
- Significant experience with high-volume embedded, connected products.
- Seasoned in 8/16/32 bit MCU.
- Practiced in firmware development.
- Proficient at embedded prototyping.
- Competent knowledge of hardware schematics.
- Professional ability to work in a global team.
- Adept communication skills and ability to collaborate.
