THE ROLE
As a Regional Community Manager at Rapha, based in the US, you will be the driving force behind creating and sustaining a vibrant cycling community across your region. Combining your expertise in grassroots marketing, event activations, and digital engagement, you'll deliver unforgettable physical experiences while amplifying their impact through regional social media channels. Passionate about cycling and deeply connected to your local culture, you will design and execute an annual activation program, host flagship events, and represent Rapha, industry partners, and the press. Working closely with local Clubhouse teams and central marketing peers, you'll ensure that every touchpoint-whether on the road or online-reflects Rapha's brand values and inspires cyclists to live life by bike.
This role demands creativity, adaptability, and a willingness to spend significant time traveling, hosting events, and engaging directly with riders of all levels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Activation Program: Oversee and execute an annual regional activation program through both owned and partnered events, delivering memorable experiences that inspire and engage cyclists.
- Community Leadership: Foster a thriving cycling community around our Regional Clubhouses by nurturing a team of Community Leads, hosting events, and creating opportunities for cyclists to connect with Rapha and each other.
- Coach Community Leads: Support and mentor Community Leads in each Clubhouse location, equipping them to deliver exceptional local rides, events, and social engagement programs.
- Enable Local Success: Ensure Community Leads have the tools, guidance, and inspiration to grow their local cycling communities through RCC programming, ride leader coordination, and ambassador collaboration.
- Social Media Engagement: Manage the regional Instagram account, sharing engaging content that amplifies the impact of physical activations and connects the local community to Rapha's global presence.
- Collaboration: Partner with Clubhouse and central marketing teams to align activation strategies and maximise community impact.
- Brand Representation:Be a representative of Rapha within your region, representing the brand at events, to industry partners, and to the press with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Insights & Reporting: Share reports on key performance indicators, including event participation, social media engagement, and community growth.
- Budget Management: Oversee a yearly budget to support regional activations, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Operational Excellence: Manage activation vehicles (where one is available) and event equipment, ensuring it reflects Rapha's high standards and is prepared for key events across the region.
- Activation strategy & footprint: Build and oversee the standard of Rapha activation in the US, owning the presentation, footprint and display of the Rapha brand through all owned events in the region.
