is hiring a
Search Engine Optimization Specialist
to participate in growing and managing SEO efforts for both Acute and Behavioral Health divisions by determining key search phrases and optimizing webpages that could drive traffic and increase conversions for all owned websites.Hybrid opportunity: 3 days in the office and 2 days work from home.Key Responsibilities include:Directs marketing and content teams on how to improve the performance of UHS websites in search engines like Google and Bing, and how to appropriately optimize for conversions and user experience. Pursues content marketing and backlinking opportunities that align with company goals.Implement Google Analytics and set up goals and events.Research valuable key phrases to target and set priorities.Coordinates with the content team regarding Meta data edits to improve SEO rankings and click-throughs.Provides direction and strategy for SEO-targeted content and reviews all content produced for SEO performance.Performs audits to identify issues and ensures sites are properly optimized.Identifies content consolidation opportunities and directs teams as appropriate.Manages 404 issues and strategic redirects for all properties.Directs developers, designers, and editors to execute SEO tactics as appropriate, including new features, layouts, and content that complies with common Panda optimization techniques and conversion optimization principles.Identifies new link building strategies and directs team or executes as appropriate.Reaches out to trusted treatment centers, schools, bloggers, or other contacts that might want to use media or content assets, stores communications in Salesforce.Utilizes team members, competitive research, and audience identification to discover opportunities and new contacts.With other team members, determines content marketing opportunities.Adheres to brand guidelines and standards outlined by Digital Strategy Manager.Gains proficiency with new and constantly changing technology.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree, Marketing, or related business field.Minimum of 1 year of marketing experience required.3+ years of experience optimizing with SEO tools such as Moz.com, Raven Tools, Link Research Tools, SEM Rush, Majestic SEO, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console preferred.2+ years of experience with keyword analysis using tools like Google Keyword Planner preferred.1+ years of experience using CSS and HTML to style content.Familiarity with using WordPress or other CMS to manage a website.Familiarity of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (advanced formulas like VLOOKUP or MATCH preferred).Knowledge of white hat and black hat tactics.This opportunity provides the following:Challenging and rewarding work environmentGrowth and development opportunities within UHS and its subsidiariesCompetitive CompensationExcellent Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug Plan401k plan with company matchGenerous Paid Time Off
