It signifies commitment through standing guard on Friday nights in various weather conditions and performing under tight deadlines. There are two types of Red Jackets: PPR Video Producer/Editor and PPR Content Creators. You must be available every Friday night from mid-August to December for game coverage. Ideal candidates are energetic, team-oriented, knowledgeable about football, and skilled in digital and social media storytelling. The Content Creator focuses on storytelling through digital content, including text, photos, and social media elements. The Video Producer/Editor handles shooting, editing, and producing game footage and related content for multiple platforms. Responsibilities: Content Creator Create engaging content related to San Diego high school football, including stories, photos, and social media posts. Serve as a liaison to promote digital and social media presence. Coordinate with digital content teams for distribution. Video Producer/Editor Shoot, produce, direct, and edit various types of game footage and digital content. Optimize videos for different social media platforms. Minimum requirements for both positions: Experience in digital content development and publishing. Shooting and editing skills. Interest in digital publishing and storytelling. Knowledge of social media, football, and current trends. Ability to work under deadlines and communicate effectively. Additional requirements for all employees include punctuality, quick learning, availability on Friday nights, a clean driving record, and access to HD video gear if applying for videography roles.
