Job Description
Key Performance Competencies

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the Marketing and Business Development teams
• Maintain and manage inventory (promotional assets and equipment) for conferences
• Shipping and receiving conference-related materials and booths
• Manage and follow up with business development lead lists captured at events
• Quality assurance checks in customer relationship management (CRM) for leads
• Assist in the preparation of social media posts pre-event and post-event
• Managing QR codes, links, forms and marketing materials related to events
• Regular communication with clients and vendors, professionalism and timeliness are imperative
• Establish and maintain new and existing relationships with third parties/vendors
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects
• Ensure brand consistency with all marketing collateral (voice, tone)
• Perform other duties as required
Knowledge/Skills Required
• Solid knowledge and skillset with related applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms
• Experience with HubSpot, WordPress
• Strong writing skills, editing skills, and oral communication skills; confident communicator
• Ability to grasp new concepts, strategies, and initiatives
• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, maintain exceptional details, execute multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Collaborative and willing to contribute to a team environment; ability to work effectively with people at all levels of an organization
• Self-motivated; able to work independently and adapt to change
Education, Training, and Experience
• Post-secondary diploma/degree in a relevant field, plus 2 to 4 years of experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong writing/copyediting background
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Suite, Google Analytics, and SEO tools is preferred, not required
Physical Demands
The physical demands of typical office positions are expected. The ability to sit and perform terminal/computer work for lengthy periods is expected and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds for shipping and receiving conference materials.
