Apex is hiring a Game Producer to work a remote contract.

This role requires PST.

It is a mobile game and requires fluency in Mandarin.

Rate: $43-$48

Typical Day in the Role

Purpose of the Team:

1. Videogame production
2. Looking for a producer to help with specifically the project with Age of Empires Mobile and other things they may leverage for those projects
3. Age of Empires Mobile Game
4. Projects are all under the Age of Empire brand

Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm:

1. Coordinating across teams to deliver products and features at quality on-time and achieve our go-to-market goals, including content, events, testing, localization, and user engagement.
2. Communicate and collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders and external partners, often in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
3. Review and provide informed feedback on development schedules and roadmaps.
4. Identify, communicate, track, and report on the tasks & work items assigned to you, including status and updates on critical work items to key stakeholders regularly.
5. Providing flexible assistance for other Producers as needed.

Candidate Requirements

1. Years of Experience Required: 5-7 overall years of experience in the field.
2. Degrees or certifications required:
1. Must be fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese language
2. Job hopping would be a red flag (depending on situation)
3. Experience in game as a service will be welcome as their games are games of service (they continue to create updates to the games over time)
4. People who have worked with China / Chinese companies (Chinese companies have a different work culture that would be valuable to know of)
5. Able to be a task master
6. Self-motivated individual / self-sufficient
7. Quality of work is key
8. Will be looking at how they handle situations coming up
9. Nature of the producer position is that each day is different

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience

1. Communication experience (will be effectively collaborating with teams) – 2+ YOE
2. Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Excel, etc.) – 2+ YOE

Hard Skills Assessment Process: The assessment process will include a 30-minute HSA.
