Design Team Leader – Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Facility Full-Time | Texas, USA | Hiring Immediately We’re seeking a technically strong Design Team Leader to oversee multidisciplinary design for a large biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Texas, ensuring compliance with cGMP, ISPE, ASME BPE, ISO 14644, and local codes. Key Responsibilities Lead facility design: architecture, structure, HVAC, cleanroom, process utilities (WFI, PW, CIP/SIP), electrical, automation Ensure compliance with FDA cGMP, ISPE, ASME BPE, ISO 14644, and local building codes Review and approve P&ID, GA drawings, equipment layouts, and specifications Manage internal/external design teams; coordinate with construction, commissioning, procurement, and validation Implement BIM-based clash detection and track design deliverables Drive value engineering for cost, space, and energy efficiency Mentor designers and uphold quality, innovation, and safety standards Qualifications Bachelor’s/Master’s in Architecture, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related 12+ years design experience; 3+ years in biopharma/pharma/cleanroom facilities Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, BIM360 Deep knowledge of cleanroom standards, HVAC zoning, and contamination control Familiarity with FDA, ISPE, EU GMP, ASME BPE Strong leadership, communication, and fast-track schedule management Preferred Texas facility design and multicultural project experience IQ/OQ/PQ interface and LEED/sustainable design knowledge EPCM and Design-Build environment exposure How to Apply Submit your CV and cover letter to resumes@company.com with “Design Team Leader – Biopharma” in the subject line.
