System One is currently seeking a Substation Control Designer on a 3 year contract position located in Birmingham, AL.
Substation Designer Requirements:
Experience with Substation Design work
AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical experience
Familiar with Company Tools and the Autodesk toolset
Familiar with Substation layouts
Familiar with Relay Panel assemblies
Understanding of how to read design prints
Able to compare project drawings to the Company Standard
Effective communication skills and able to provide detailed reports
Ability to travel throughout the Company footprint to perform project reviews
Self-motivated and able to take tasks and complete them with little oversight
Duration: 3 years
Location: Birmingham, AL
Pay rate: $30-50/hr DOE
