Regional Director of Sales and Marketing
The ideal candidate will be located in the San Jose area.
Salary range: $115k – $125k
Take your sales career to the next level with Oakmont Management Group. We are seeking a dynamic Regional Director of Sales and Marketing to lead sales efforts in their region. This position supports our senior living communities in the San Jose market.
This role collaborates with the SVP of Sales & Marketing to develop and implement marketing plans at each community. The Regional Director will oversee the sales process and onsite marketing, ensuring all efforts meet Oakmont standards.
Position Responsibilities:
- Work with the Executive Director to oversee hiring and termination of sales staff at the community level, including final interviews, training, shadowing tours, outreach, and annual reviews.
- Oversee the sales process at each community.
- Collaborate with sales teams to create marketing plans for each community.
- Evaluate sales performance and provide ongoing training.
- Establish and monitor business development expectations and efficiency levels.
- Participate in annual sales meetings.
- Create and maintain marketing procedures manuals.
- Conduct mystery shopping to ensure quality control.
- Oversee the Regional Sales Specialist.
- Communicate regularly with Executive Directors regarding sales team performance, mentoring, and promotions.
- Achieve or surpass occupancy and revenue goals in the region.
- Provide feedback and strategic recommendations to upper management to enhance occupancy, revenue, and best practices.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in senior industry sales, preferably in multi-site or regional roles.
- Experience with direct sales in Memory Care and Assisted Living.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
- Highly motivated, capable of working and traveling independently.
- Physical mobility and ability to meet job requirements.
- Pass a physical exam and criminal background check.
- Willing to travel at least 60% of the time.
