Your Impact:
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Oversee project execution, ensuring compliance with firm-wide standards, building codes, and client expectations. Collaborate with office leaders to resolve complex technical issues and maintain quality control across projects.
- Project Delivery: Ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of projects by coordinating across disciplines (architecture, structural, MEP). Support office leaders in maintaining schedules and meeting deadlines.
- Team Development: Mentor junior staff and lead technical training initiatives to enhance skills across the region. Collaborate with leadership to implement staff development programs.
- Quality Assurance & Risk Management: Implement firm-wide QA/QC processes to ensure technical accuracy and mitigate risks. Conduct regular reviews and audits of projects, providing feedback and recommending improvements.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary technical contact for clients, building strong, long-term relationships. Work closely with business development teams to promote PBK's capabilities and secure new projects.
- Innovation & Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and promote the integration of new technologies, BIM, and sustainable design practices into project delivery.
- Travel: Travel 25% of the time to regional offices to maintain visibility and foster consistent work standards across locations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Architecture
- Professional registration required
- Extensive experience in technical leadership and project management in aarchitectural or engineering setting.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, construction codes, and sustainable design principles.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with BIM and advanced digital tools is a plus.
Eligible employees receive an annual performance bonus depending on McGranahanPBK profitability and individual performance. Employees accrue a minimum of 2 weeks of paid time off during their first year with McGranahanPBK an additional week of paid time off during our winter break (12/26-12/31), 6.5 days of sick leave, and we observe 9 1/2 holidays. The expected pay range for this position, based on experience, skills, and knowledge applicable to the role is $110,930 - $166,395.
