Summary:

Summary:
Serves as a mentor to a librarian working within CRCSD that does not yet hold a teacher librarian certification. Attends scheduled meetings with their mentee quarterly.
Endorsements:
School Teacher Librarian K-8, 5-12, or K-12
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years working as a librarian
- A minimum of 1 year of CRCSD librarian experience.
Duties:
- Collaborates with Library Content Lead and Library Database Coordinator to ensure librarian mentee uses the school library database based on established cataloging standards for the district
- Reviews collection development plan for library book purchases and weeding for librarian mentee
- Assists Library Content Lead in planning quarterly mentor/mentee meetings around topics of book collection development, library curriculum, and supporting staff and students with technology
- Attends quarterly meetings with librarian mentee
Term: 12 month, short-term contract
Compensation: $2,000 stipend
