Join our esteemed organization as a Social Media and Graphics Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting federal programs from both remote and onsite locations. Key Responsibilities
- Organize, strategize, and develop rich content to support newly authorized programs and initiatives for a government client.
- Lead the social media strategy with an emphasis on crafting engaging content and visually striking graphics.
- Collaborate with various working groups to ensure that critical deliverables are met promptly and that messaging remains consistent across all platforms.
- Partner with leadership to implement strategic policy priorities and coordinate resource allocation effectively.
- Create, edit, and produce impactful short-form video content tailored for social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Design innovative graphics and layouts that adhere to brand standards, ensuring all deliverables are visually attractive and on-brand.
- Develop assets including social media posts, email templates, online advertisements, and presentations for both internal and external audiences.
- Utilize typography, color, and imagery to formulate designs that are clear, engaging, and visually compelling for print and digital media.
- Maintain and refresh branding guidelines, templates, and assets to reflect the evolving identity of the brand.
- Produce high-quality print materials that seamlessly integrate with the brand’s digital presence.
- U.S. citizenship is necessary for obtaining a Public Trust clearance.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in graphic design.
- Preferably, previous experience in government programs, the energy sector, or energy-related initiatives.
- A portfolio that showcases your design work, including illustrations and graphics is essential.
- Proficiency in design tools such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop.
- Expertise in photo retouching, image manipulation, and creating icons and branded elements.
- Experience with video editing and basic animations.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and business writing proficiency.
- A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
