Key Responsibilities:Meet with Clients in Showroom and assist in design and sales of project.Use AutoCAD to create detailed construction drawings in 2D, with the ability to do 3D, if needed.Help oversee success of design projects from design to delivery.Sell and deliver job and exceed client expectations - goal is always to get the referral.Assist Design team with drawing production.Coordinate with architects and engineers to ensure accuracy of plans.Revise drawings as needed to accommodate changes and updates.Produce accurate and detailed quantity take-offs for materials and labor.Maintain accurate records of all drawings and revisions.Convert 2D drawings to 3D models and vice versa as needed.Utilize strong project management skills to ensure projects are completed on time, and up to company standards.Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills in managing multiple projects simultaneously.Qualifications:Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent in design-related field or a minimum of 3 years of experience preferred.Strong sales and client communication skills is a must.Construction Administration / Management preferred. In fieldwork experience is a plus.Mechanical / HVAC knowledge or experience is a plus.Background in Interior Design or Audio/Video related field is a plus.High end residential construction experience is a plus.Strong proficiency in 2D AutoCAD is a must, and 3D AutoCAD is a plus.Experience with 3ds MAX, SketchUp, and Photoshop a plus but not required.Knowledge and understanding of CAD standards.Understanding of and affiliation with AES, SMPTE, CEDIA, AIA, AUGI is a plus.Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and communication purposes.Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to address inquiries and concerns professionally.Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work independently or with a team, managing time effectively.Benefits:
