Role Overview
Established interior design firm located in Evanston, specializing in residential renovation and new construction. We are known for our expertise across a wide variety of styles, from traditional to contemporary, and have completed the interior design of primary and vacation homes locally and nationally.
We are seeking a talented, versatile Senior Interior Designer / Project Manager who will enthusiastically join our team. You will be working with a sophisticated clientele and navigating the entire design process from start to finish. Required Qualifications
- Professional degree in Interior Design
- 7+ years experience at a residential firm
- Experience with residential furniture, vendors, and workrooms
- Organized self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Word, and Excel
Your Responsibilities
- Space planning
- Drawings: plans, elevations, millwork, electrical
- Working with and overseeing vendors, trades, and contractors
- Maintaining detailed notes and documentation
- Proposals, contracts, purchase orders, and invoices
- Tracking purchases, delivery dates, and scheduling installations
Salary commensurate with experience.
