Content Summary: Packaging Designer at New York, for Enchanteaccessories
The Packaging Designer will be responsible for the designing, creation, and packaging development for a wide range of at-home products and gift sets.
Responsibilities
- Ability to conceptualize, design, and execute unique/trendy packaging for our products.
- Make digital mockups in Adobe AI/PS.
- Ability to use style guidance and apply it to components.
- Strong command of visual design capabilities, including composition, layout, hierarchy, typography, and color judgment.
- Produce print-ready files and tech packs.
- Ability to create physical comps.
- Work directly with the Art Director, Merchandising Managers, and Creative Team.
- Able to follow client style guides.
- Keep the manager informed of the status of all projects.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Competencies
- Proficient in 3D design software, CAD, Photoshop & Illustrator is required.
- 3+ years’ experience in the off-price retail market.
- Familiarity working with nutrition labels is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the Disney Brand.
- Efficient knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Suite.
- Excellent time management skills to meet strict deadlines.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Professional communication skills.
- Ability to work with a dynamic team.
- Understanding of market dynamics and business judgment.
- Realistic expectation of customer’s capabilities including weaknesses.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or related field with 3 years’ experience; or an Associate’s degree with 4 years of Industrial Design and/or Graphic Design; or 5+ years of Industrial Design and/or Graphic Design or related experience.
