Base pay range

$75,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

The ideal candidate will be a master storyteller with a keen eye for detail, capable of conceptualizing, shooting, and editing high-quality video content both in-studio and on-location. You thrive under aggressive timelines, possess a broad understanding of video and editing technologies, and are eager to leverage AI tools to enhance creativity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Conceptualize, plan, shoot, and edit engaging video content tailored for various platforms including our website, social media channels (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.), television commercials, internal communications, training materials, and promotional campaigns.
• Production & Execution: Manage all aspects of video production, including storyboarding, scripting (in collaboration with a content leader or independently), location scouting, lighting, audio recording, and operating camera equipment.
• Versatile Shooting: Expertly shoot diverse content types, including customer testimonials, service demonstrations, brand storytelling pieces, promotional videos, educational content, and executive interviews, both in a controlled studio environment and dynamic on-site locations (e.g., customer homes, job sites).
• Post-Production: Edit raw footage into polished, compelling final products. This includes color correction, sound mixing, adding graphics, animations, and ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines and quality standards.
• Technical Expertise: Maintain and operate a range of video equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, audio gear, and accessories. Stay current with the latest video production techniques, software, and hardware.
• AI Integration: Proactively explore and implement AI-powered tools and techniques to streamline workflows, enhance video quality (e.g., upscaling, noise reduction), and unlock new creative possibilities in video production and editing.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, creative director, and other stakeholders to understand project briefs, messaging, and desired outcomes. Effectively communicate project status and incorporate feedback.
• Asset Management: Organize and maintain a digital library of video assets, ensuring easy retrieval and version control.
• Timeline Management: Efficiently manage multiple video projects simultaneously, adhering to aggressive deadlines and delivering high-quality work consistently.
• Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of industry trends in video content, emerging platforms, and new technologies to ensure our content remains fresh, innovative, and effective.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Videographer with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of high-quality video work (please provide a link to your reel/portfolio).
• Demonstrable experience shooting and editing content for various platforms including web, social media, and broadcast/TV.
• Understanding of professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Experience with motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is a strong plus.
• Solid understanding of camera operation (DSLR, mirrorless, cinema cameras), lighting techniques, audio recording, and set design.
• Experience shooting in both studio and uncontrolled on-location environments.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage aggressive timelines without compromising quality.
• Familiarity with and interest in leveraging AI tools for video production and editing (e.g., AI-powered editing software, transcription services, content generation tools).
• Excellent storytelling, creative, and visual skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of the home services industry is a plus, but not required.
