Marketing Director

Location: Houston, TX 77027
*fully on-site position

Responsibilities:

1. Support the CEO and VP, Director of Marketing by developing, implementing, reviewing, and evaluating the Shopping Center's Marketing Plans for River Oaks District.
2. Plan, coordinate, and implement promotional activities and perform related administrative duties.
3. Research competitive analysis, market overviews, and merchant data; plan marketing strategies; plan budgets; coordinate and oversee marketing, advertising, social media, and public relations.
4. Prepare and analyze sales reports, oversee and coordinate annual tenant sales audit reports.
5. Coordinate website development, maintenance, and internet marketing strategies and tactics.
6. Prepare monthly gross sales analysis reports and coordinate other special events held at ROD.
7. Perform other related duties as assigned by the General Manager, CEO, and/or VP, Director of Marketing.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, or related area required.
2. Extensive knowledge of market research, advertising, promotion concepts, strategies, and practices.
3. Extensive knowledge of research methods, data analysis, and sales projections.
4. Excellent verbal and writing ability to produce and present reports and information to Management, Center merchants, and a variety of others.
5. Class A Retail marketing experience for property management.
6. Knowledge and experience in developing, executing, and monitoring departmental budgets.
7. Excellent interpersonal skills to relate effectively with managers and staff, merchants, consultants, and a variety of audiences for River Oaks District.
