VAN ETTEN is a boutique, new age PR Agency based in New York City partnering with forward-thinking brands across the Fashion and Accessories Industries.
Role Description
- Supporting team in daily activities, including shipping, editorial previews, influencer research, sample trafficking, and organizing media lists.
- Maintaining the organization of the showroom samples and press reports.
- Assisting with sample trafficking, new sample inventory, and gifting initiatives.
- Reviewing national and local publications and websites for editorial credits on a daily basis. Reviewing influencer and celebrity pages daily for placements.
- Assisting with maintaining a database of influencers, editors, and VIPs.
- Coordinating messenger services and shipments.
Qualifications
- Passion for and knowledge of the fashion industry and public relations.
- Experience working in a fast-paced office environment, exceptionally organized, demanding a high attention to detail, excellent written and communication abilities, eagerness to contribute, ability to adapt to and multitask in high-pressure situations, strong sense of urgency, and a genuine enthusiasm to learn and grow in a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Strong understanding of the influencer and VIP landscape.
- Writing skills.
- Prior PR experience required (1-2 years).
