Work Schedule
The College is seeking adjunct instructors to teach Communication Studies and Theatre, in-person. This assignment is 9:00 am to noon, from Monday through Friday in May. There is need for a qualified instructor beginning in May 2025.
This position is in person at the Downtown Campus, 700 East Jackson St.

Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginia's capital city and five nearby counties. Annually, our four campus sites serve approximately 13,000 credit students and provide training for 7,400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance. KSA's/Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Communication Studies and Theatre or related field; or Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Communication Studies and Theatre.
Additional Considerations
Community college and/or high school teaching experience, and experience with Canvas are preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to place an emphasis on student-centered learning. Demonstrated ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.
