We are growing rapidly and seeking a talented, detail-oriented Post-Production Editor to join our in-house team.
Position Overview
As a Post-Production Editor, you will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling, high-quality visual content for both our clients and internal projects. This includes editing single and multi-camera footage, creating engaging social media content, refining commercial productions, retouching and enhancing images, and optimizing visuals for digital campaigns. You will work closely with our creative team to ensure that each project aligns with the initial concept, brand vision, and intended platform—whether it's a high-end commercial, a fast-paced social media ad, or a long-form branded documentary
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing & Post-Production
- Edit and refine single and multi-camera footage for commercial productions, branded content, and social media campaigns.
- Ensure seamless storytelling through pacing, sequencing, and transitions.
- Apply advanced editing techniques daily, using After Effects. Including background removal, compositing, and rotoscoping, to enhance engagement.
- Design dynamic motion graphics, lower thirds, animated typography, and 3D elements to elevate video storytelling.
- Incorporate CGI and VFX when applicable to enhance production value.
- Enhance audio quality through sound mixing, syncing, and music selection to complement the visual experience.
Photo Editing & Retouching
- Retouch and enhance high-resolution images for use across various platforms, ensuring brand consistency, high aesthetic quality, and visual impact.
- Edit and refine commercial photography, lifestyle imagery, editorial work, and eCommerce content.
- Use advanced techniques, such as frequency separation, compositing, color correction, and object removal, to produce polished, high-end imagery.
- Optimize photos for diverse formats, including social media, digital ads, product pages, and print materials.
- Maintain high-quality standards for resolution, lighting, and consistency across all imagery.
Content Optimization for Social & Digital Platforms
- Format and optimize both video and photo content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and ad campaigns.
- Maintain organized file structures, project backups, and streamlined workflows for efficiency.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends in AI-driven editing tools, social media content formats, and post-production techniques.
Creative Collaboration & Strategic Execution
- Work closely with creative directors, producers, photographers, and brand strategists to ensure that the final output aligns with the original vision and intended use.
- Contribute ideas to enhance storytelling and ensure content serves its strategic purpose.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2-5 years of professional experience in video and photo editing, with a focus on post-production.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator.
- Experience editing single- and multi-camera footage for various production types, including commercial, branded, and social content.
- Advanced expertise in photo retouching, color correction, and high-end compositing.
- Familiarity with Blender or similar 3D animation and visual effects software is a plus.
- Understanding of audio editing, sound design, and music synchronization.
- Ability to craft highly engaging, platform-optimized video and photo content.
- Strong creative instincts and attention to detail, ensuring high-end, polished deliverables.
- Experience working in a fast-paced agency environment with multiple brands and projects.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple deadlines.
Bonus Skills (Not Required but Preferred)
- Experience with AI-driven editing tools (Runway, Topaz Labs, or similar).
- Background in CGI integration, VFX, or cinematography.
- Familiarity with lighting and production workflows.
- Understanding of SEO for video content and YouTube optimization.
