Overview
Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage medications for patients, including those with substance use disorders. Provide care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring a continuum of treatment for diverse patient needs. Perform Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) as part of a comprehensive treatment approach. Supervise and collaborate with mid-level providers to deliver the highest quality care. Teach and clinically supervise psychiatry residents in the GME program, focusing on addiction-related topics and general psychiatry. Participate in a monthly weekend call rotation to ensure continuity of care. Maintain timely and compliant documentation in accordance with facility standards. Qualifications
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry. A valid Tennessee medical license or eligibility for licensure. Strong working knowledge of addiction treatment in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Proficiency in performing or willingness to train in ECT. Excellent teaching and leadership skills with a collaborative approach to care. Prior experience supervising mid-level providers is preferred. What We Offer
