Robert Half is working with a client that is looking to hire a dynamic and strategic Internal Communications & Corporate Communications Specialist to enhance employee engagement, strengthen corporate messaging, and manage crisis communications. This role is responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that align with the company’s goals, ensuring consistent and effective messaging across all internal and external channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement internal communication strategies that drive employee engagement, alignment, and transparency.
- Create compelling content for company-wide announcements, newsletters, intranet, leadership messages, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with HR, executive leadership, and department heads to ensure clear and consistent messaging.
- Organize town halls, webinars, and other internal events to enhance corporate culture and information-sharing.
- Measure the effectiveness of internal communication strategies and optimize based on feedback and analytics.
- Support the development of corporate messaging and branding to maintain a strong company reputation.
- Draft press releases, corporate statements, and thought leadership pieces in alignment with the company’s mission and objectives.
- Assist in managing media relations and executive communications, including speech writing and media interviews.
- Develop and maintain crisis communication plans to ensure preparedness for potential risks and issues.
- Act as a key liaison during crisis situations, providing timely and accurate messaging to internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor news and social media for emerging risks and provide proactive communication strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or crisis communications.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with attention to detail.
- Strong ability to communicate complex topics clearly and concisely.
- Experience working with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of crisis management principles and best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in communication tools such as intranet platforms, email marketing software, and collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams, Slack, etc.).
- Strong media relations experience is a plus.
