Robert Half Marketing and Creative is working with a client in the retail space who is looking to hire a Marketing Merchandise Manager. Candidates must have experience in e-commerce. Candidates must be able to work onsite in the Norcross area 4 days a week.
- Take charge of curating and managing the online product selection to meet customer demand, seasonal trends, and content branding strategies.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from SKU activation to rotation and phase-out.
- Implement online merchandising strategies, optimizing product visibility, category structures, and filtering options to improve the customer experience.
- Collaborate with the marketing and e-commerce teams to synchronize product launches with campaigns, promotions, and SEO initiatives.
- Make data-driven adjustments to merchandising strategies based on performance analytics and consumer behavior insights.
- Work closely with product development to ensure adequate stock for promotions, events, and seasonal transitions.
- Conduct regular inventory reviews and manage markdowns, promotions, and clearance strategies.
- Ensure product descriptions, images, and pricing remain accurate, consistent, and aligned with brand standards.
- Optimize product pages for SEO to enhance rankings and drive traffic.
- Assess margins and ROI for POL promotions to ensure alignment with internal performance metrics.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging e-commerce technologies, offering insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Leverage personalization and recommendation tools to improve product discovery and relevance for customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Digital Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce merchandising or product management.
- Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing best practices.
- Expertise in e-commerce platforms (Adobe Magento is a plus), Google Analytics, and merchandising software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract insights from data and trends.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to implement creative solutions that drive business growth.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
