Description

We are looking for a skilled Product Designer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in St. Paul, Minnesota. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative and high-quality clothing products. The ideal candidate will bring a strong creative vision, technical expertise, and collaborative mindset to enhance our product offerings.

Responsibilities:

Develop and refine clothing designs, ensuring they meet high standards for quality, textiles, trims, and workmanship.

Measure garments and create detailed specification sheets to guide production processes.

Collaborate with factories and team members to address design and production challenges while maintaining excellent customer service.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and InDesign, to create compelling graphic designs and product visuals.

Analyze spreadsheets to evaluate costs and gross margins, ensuring financial feasibility of designs.

Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to solve problems and foster collaboration.

Apply brand awareness and design expertise to create products that align with the company's vision.

Stay adaptable and prioritize tasks efficiently in a dynamic business environment.

Leverage a passion for sports to inspire innovative designs and align with target audience interests.

Requirements

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product development within the clothing industry or a related field.

Proven ability to identify high-quality designs, textiles, and trims.

Proficiency in creating and interpreting garment specifications and measurements.

Strong project management skills with a detail-oriented approach and ability to meet deadlines.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with factories and team members.

Advanced graphic design skills with expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and InDesign.

Ability to analyze spreadsheets to understand costs and gross margins.

Experience in prioritizing and multitasking in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
