POSITION SUMMARY: The Multi-Media Specialist is responsible for promoting the mission of Rocky Mountain Health Care Services (RMHCS) through the creation and distribution of various forms of media. The Multi-Media Specialist functions as part of the Marketing team and assists in all aspects of content creation, videography, editing, and image creation.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Apply visual design best practice principles to the design and development of static and interactive elements (graphics, videos, animations, interactive simulations, etc.), while maintaining RMHCS branding/graphics standards.
- Manage multiple simultaneous projects to reach targets, staying on schedule and budget.
- Understand and maintain the branding identity strategy for our programs.
- Create multimedia content for a variety of media platforms.
- Record and edit video and audio and provide direction/assistance to team members who assist with video editing and export.
- Perform usability testing and quality assurance of media elements used across platforms. Ensure media is accessible for all users, including those with disabilities.
- Provide initial conception (storyboarding, etc.) and estimates for media development. Develop layout and concept designs for approvals.
- Collaborate closely with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external, on all aspects of projects, including planning, content, production level, and platforms, turnaround time, corrections, approvals and project estimates.
- Leverage analytics to determine the effectiveness of activities and make continual improvements.
- Utilize Adobe software to create graphics for both internal and external audiences.
- Ensures brand consistency across all platforms.
- Designs and produces unique content that always reflects RMHCS values.
- Works closely with the Marketing and Communications Manager to develop a strategy for integrated media campaigns.
- Assists the Marketing and Communications Manager and other senior management in the selection of appropriate media that best supports the strategy and/project.
- Other duties as assigned.
- An associate's degree in graphic design or a similar field is highly desired.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in image creation and video production.
- Familiarity with both Windows and Apple operating systems is required.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software.
- Knowledge of civil rights relating to free access to materials and copyright laws.
- Experience working within the healthcare industry is highly desired.
- Portfolio or other examples of work may be requested.
- Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere
