Sr. Landscape Designer or Landscape Architect . The company specializes in high-end, full-service estate management and landscape construction—doing work that reflects a deep respect for craftsmanship, design, and lasting client relationships. We are seeking a Senior Landscape Designer or Landscape Architect who brings both creative vision and proven sales capability to support this growing design-build company.
You’ll join a family of nationwide companies that specializes in creating and maintaining luxury outdoor living spaces.
What You’ll Do
You’ll play a key role in leading residential landscape design projects from concept to construction. Your focus will include design and sales:
Leading the design process from concept development through final construction Preparing design presentations, 2D/3D renderings, and technical drawings Collaborating with clients on material selections, revisions, and design refinements Managing client relationships and closing design-build sales opportunities Creating detailed take-offs and pricing estimates for proposals Coordinating with internal teams and vendors to source and secure materials Supporting production with construction details, layout clarity, and field adjustments
What We’re Looking For
Ideal candidates will have:
5+ years of experience in high-end residential landscape design or architecture BS in Landscape Architecture or a related design field (preferred) Proven ability to sell design-build projects and build client trust Strong rendering and drafting capabilities – 3D visualization is a major plus Knowledge of grading, drainage, planting design, and hardscape construction Existing network of past clients or potential leads is highly valued Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively as a team player Willingness to meet with clients during evenings or weekends, as needed Ability to work through production challenges and communicate effectively with field teams Proficiency in: AutoCAD Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) Microsoft Office Suite SketchUp, Lumion or other 3D software Knowledge of regional plant materials
Compensation & Benefits
A highly competitive compensation package is being offered, including:
Base $110,000 with $30,000+ in bonus/commission potential; $140,000+ target earnings (based on experience, sales performance, and design contributions) Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Life and AD&D insurance Paid time off (PTO) Employee referral program Supportive, growth-oriented work environment
