Job Description
We are looking for a Motion Graphics Artist to join our Content & Paid Ads department. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and animating compelling motion graphics and video content for various advertising campaigns across multiple digital platforms, including social media and online ads. You will collaborate with our marketing and content teams to develop engaging visuals that align with our brand and drive performance in paid media campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and animate motion graphics for course content, paid advertising campaigns, ensuring visual consistency with brand guidelines.
- Edit and assemble video content, integrating motion graphics, typography, and effects to enhance engagement.
- Optimize animations and video content for various platforms, considering aspect ratios, durations, and audience behavior.
- Provide creative input during brainstorming and production planning to develop high-impact visuals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging animation techniques, and best practices in motion graphics.
- Manage and organize video and animation assets efficiently.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Maintain high attention to detail in animation, transitions, and overall visual presentation.
- Support studio operations, ensuring software and hardware are up to date and functioning efficiently.
- Other duties as assigned by the Content Director or Chief Marketing Officer.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, with expertise in After Effects and Premiere Pro; knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus.
- Proven experience in motion graphics and animation, preferably in a marketing, advertising, or digital content setting.
- Strong understanding of video editing, typography, composition, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to create visually engaging motion graphics that enhance brand messaging.
- Familiarity with optimizing video content for various digital and social media platforms.
- On-set experience, including lighting, audio, and camera setup, is a plus.
- Experience operating cameras, preferably Canon, for B-roll or additional content creation is preferred.
