In this role, you will help students with visual impairments develop academic skills, independence, and confidence in their daily lives. Key Duties: Provide direct instruction in Braille, assistive technology, and adaptive skills. Work closely with IEP teams to develop effective learning plans. Train school staff on best practices for supporting students with visual impairments. Assess and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed. Foster student independence by teaching orientation and mobility strategies. Qualifications: Oklahoma Teaching Certification in Visual Impairments. Bachelors or Masters degree in Visual Impairment Education. Experience working with visually impaired students preferred. Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. ?
