A school district in Rush Springs, OK, is seeking a dedicated professional to provide specialized instruction to students with visual impairments. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized instruction plans for students with visual impairments. Adapt curriculum materials using Braille, large print, and assistive technology. Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment. Teach students orientation and mobility skills to enhance independence. Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly. Ensure compliance with IEPs and special education regulations. Qualifications: Valid Oklahoma Teaching Certification in Visual Impairments. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Visual Impairment Education or related field. Proficiency in Braille, assistive technology, and adaptive learning strategies. Experience working with students with visual impairments preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills. ?
